The Senators' muddled goaltending picture has just become a little cloudier.
Coach Craig Hartsburg revealed this morning that goaltender Martin Gerber has a pulled muscle in his leg and won't dress tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre.
"I don't think it's anything serious. It's a day-to-day thing," Hartsburg said. Hartsburg said Gerber suffered the injury during yesterday's morning skate.
Goaltender Alex Auld, who allowed four goals on 32 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Ducks last night at Scotiabank Place, will make his second straight start in goal. Brian Elliott has been recalled from the club's AHL affiliate in Binghamton to dress as the backup.
Nos Elliott megérkezett. Bakker, én sem lottózom.
